AMBASSADOR NIMISHA MADHVANI MEETS DIRECTOR GENERAL OF UNESCO

Ambassador giving the UNESCO DG the gift of mountain gorilla coffee which is grown in an environmentally protected Bwindi a natural heritage under UNESCO


Out-going Ambassador of Uganda to France and Permanent Representative to UNESCO, Nimisha Madhvani Paid a farewell courtesy call on the Director General of UNESCO Ms Irina Bukova in Paris today.

Amb Madhvani thanked her for the strong relationship with Uganda on the Priority Africa program, Gender Equality, Culture and Heritage programs.

Director General Bukova who has been attending the cultural and Heritage Summit in Abu Dhabi and she briefed Amb Madhvani on the focus of the Emirates on protecting their archeological sites and finding sites where the first Africans came to the Arabian peninsula at the beginning of civilization from Ethiopia.

Amb. Madhvani gave her a farewell gift of Kyagulanyi Mountain Gorilla Coffee.
