Heads of State of Northern Corridor Member States Agree to Form Authority to Expedite the Implementation of Projects.

The Heads of State of the Northern Corridor member states; Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda met on 6th June 2015 at Muyonyo Speke Resort for the 10th Northern Corridor Integration Projects Summit. During the Summit, the Leaders agreed to form an authority to expedite the implementation of infrastructure projects in the East African Region.

The summit was attended by Presidents Paul Kagame (Rwanda), Uhuru Kenyatta (Kenya), ministers and delegates from South Sudan, Tanzania, Burundi, Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

JOINT STATEMENT ON THE OCCASION OF THE VISIT TO UGANDA OF PRIME MINISTER SHRI NARENDRA MODI 24-25 JULY 2018, 25th-July 2018

At the invitation of His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi undertook a State Visit to Uganda from 24 - 25 July 2018.  He was accompanied by a high-level delegation of senior officials of the Government of India and a large business delegation. This was the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister in 21 years.

Benin and Uganda Agree on Dynamic Relations, 11th-July 2018

There is urgent need to make the existing cordial bilateral relations between the Republics of Benin and Uganda more dynamic so as to benefit the people of the two friendly countries.
