RT. HON SPEAKER KADAGA HAILS THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS FOR EXCELLENT SERVICE DELIVERY 15 / 1 / 2019

The Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Uganda Rt. Hon. Rebecca Alitwala KADAGA commended  the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the efficient and effective  service the Ministry has continued to provide to Government and to the People of Uganda.

Hon. Kadaga made these remarks after being warmly received and comprehensively briefed  by Amb. Alfred Nnam,  Head of the Public Diplomacy Department  on the Ministry's  activities and services offered not only by the Ministry but also Uganda's Missions abroad that promote and advance Uganda's National Interests.

The Ministry is among some of the Institutions that is participating in the the Parliamentary Week under the theme "Championing Accountability to Improve Service Delivery" from 13th -  19th January 2019.  Ministries, Institutions,  Departments and Agencies are  showcasing the services they provide to the Public in a bid to provide accountability and ultimately improve Service delivery.

UGANADA HANDS OVER 70 EX-23 COMBATANTS TO DRC, 27th-February 2019

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on behalf of Government of the Republic of Uganda on 26th Febuary 2019, facilitated the repatriation of over 70 EX-23 Combatants  and 10 dependants to  the Government of the Republic of the Democratic of Congo. The Ceremony took place at Entebbe International Airport.
