Colombia opens Consulate in Uganda

Today morning at Ministry Headquarters Hon.Henry Oryem Okello ,State Minister of Foreign Affairs  received and held discussions with Mr.G.N Mohana Rao who has been appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Colombia to Uganda .

Hon. Minister  praised Colombia for their successful coffee production model which can be replicated in Uganda .

Mr. Mohana, the newly appointed Honorary Consul  expressed his optimism at working closely with  the Ministry  and Government to strengthen bilateral relations between Uganda and Colombia . He further stated that plans are underway to bring  new technology on green coffee processing to Uganda .
