Out-Going Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Pays a Courtesy Call On Hon Oryem

Today morning, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs( International Affairs )Hon. Henry Okello Oryem met with H.E Ha Byung-kyoto the out-going Ambassador of the Republic of Korea at the Ministry Headquarters.

Ambassador Byung-Kyoto was grateful to Uganda for the befitting hospitality accorded to him since 2008 when he reported for duty adding that it was a privilege to serve as an Ambassador to Uganda. Furthermore he committed that his successor will continue with the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries, putting more emphasis on Economic Diplomacy cooperation  .

Hon. Oryem expressed his gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Korea and to the out-going Ambassador for the tremendous contribution towards a number of development projects in Uganda such as as the fruit processing factory in Soroti industrial park, Ntinda vocational institute among others and wished him well in his future endeavors.
