NEW FRENCH AMBASSADOR PRESENTS COPIES OF HIS CREDENTIALS TO HON. ODONGO

 

KAMPALA, 2nd November 2022

Honourable Gen. Odongo Jeje Abubakhar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, this morning officially received copies of letters of Credence from the new Ambassador Designate of France to Uganda, H.E Xavier Sticker at the Ministry Headquarters.

 

The Minister congratulated Ambassador Sticker upon his appointment. He further noted that this appointment would strengthen the existing historical bilateral relations between the two countries.

 

In presenting his credentials to the Honorable Minister, Ambassador Sticker conveyed a message of gratitude for the warm reception accorded to him further expressing his commitment to working closely with the Ministry in order to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Uganda and France.

 

Hon Odongo re-affirmed the Ministry's necessary support to the Ambassador in the execution of his duties.

H.E. Stephen Mubiru, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to the Federal Republic of Germany presented his letter  of credence to H.E  Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany.
 
The function took place at the Bellevue Palace in Berlin on 22nd August 2022  and was attended by dignitaries from both Uganda and Germany.
