Functions

    Manage  and coordinate all procurement and disposal activities of the Ministry.
    Act as a secretariat and support  the functionality  of the contracts committee
    Act as representative and liaison  of the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority
     Support the functioning and implement the decisions of the Procurement Authority.
    Prepare tendering documents and advertise the tender opportunities
    Providing  technical  guidance  to the Missions on procurement and disposal  matters  
    Champion the  functionality of the evaluation team (adhoc) and the Accountant General office

GOVERNMENT OF UGANDA SIGNS AGREEMENT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE OIL REFINERY IN KABAALE - HOIMA DISTRICT., 11th-April 2018

The Uganda Government has, through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development together with the Uganda National Oil Company, today entered into the Project Framework Agreement (PFA) the with Albertine Graben Refinery Consortium(AGRC) for the development of the oil refinery.
