EGYPTPTIAN AMBASSADOR PAYS COURTESY CALL ON HON. JOHN MULIMBA Hon. John Mulimba, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs (Regional Affairs) today morning met with H.E Monzer Selim, Ambassador of the republic of Egypt to Uganda at Ministry headquarters. They discussed various aspects of bilateral relations between the two Countries. Both parties recognized and reiterated the long-standing friendly relationship between Uganda and Egypt. They emphasized the importance of strengthening and deepening these ties for the mutual benefit of their Nations. The discussions focused on enhancing trade and investment cooperation between Uganda and Egypt. They both stressed the need to explore avenues for promoting trade and investment exchanges that would benefit the economies of both countries and the management and utilization of the Nile River's resources were discussed, with an understanding of the importance of cooperation and shared understanding.
