Hon. Gen. Jeje Odongo bid farewell to the out going US Ambassador to Uganda H.E Natalie Brown at MOFA Headquarters. He thanked Her for strengthening the cordial relations Uganda and USA enjoy. He wished her good luck in her next assignments.

The President made the call while closing the second annual edition of the 2023 Canada National Resistance Movement (NRM) Chapter Symposium in a virtual meeting held at State Lodge- Nakasero on Sunday, 13th August 2023.

The two -day symposium which took place in Toronto, Canada, ran under the theme: “Dialogue, Unity and a Prosperous Diaspora”.

His Excellency Gen. (Rtd) Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, has today, Sunday, 13th of August 2023, met and held discussions with the President of the Republic of Kenya, His Excellency William Samoei Ruto, at State House, Entebbe.

During the brief meeting, President Museveni and his Kenyan counterpart discussed bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.

 

PRESIDENT MUSEVENI BIDS FAREWELL TO OUTGOING ROYAL NORWEGIAN AMBASSADOR, H.E ELIN JOHANSEN President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today bid farewell to the outgoing Royal Norwegian Ambassador, Her Excellency, Elin Johansen.The brief event took place at State House, Entebbe. The outgoing Ambassador has concluded her five-year tour of duty in Uganda.

John Mulimba wished on behalf of the Government of Uganda to welcome you to this press briefing session in preparation to holding the second South Africa-Uganda trade and investment summit which is scheduled to take place from 7^th -8^th September 2023 at Speke Resort, Munyonyo. The first edition of the Uganda – South Africa Investment and Trade Summit was held in February 2023 in Pretoria- South Africa, and was addressed by both their Excellences, President Cyril Ramaphosa and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Monday 7th August 2023 met and held discussions with the Royal Court Advisor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ahmed Bin Abdul- Aziz Kattan at State House Entebbe.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has invited Algeria to join Uganda in setting up a joint venture with an aim of adding value to the East African country's coffee.
