Uganda’s delegation led by H.E Adonia Ayebare, Permanent Representative of Uganda to the United Nations is participating in the Pre COP 28 happening in Abu Dhabi from 30-31 October 2023. The two day event which kicked off yesterday was officially opened by Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, President - Designate for COP28 UAE who called on the world to unite on climate action. The opening ceremony was followed by a plenary round table and thereafter break out sessions on thematic areas of adaptation, mitigation and means of implementation.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today met and held discussions with the President of São Tomé and Principe, H.E Carlos Manuel Vila Nova. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today confirmed his attendance at this year’s C-10 summit which will be held in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
