Kampala, 3rd February 2025 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda hosted a high-level delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran for a bilateral political consultation aimed at strengthening the long-standing relations between the two nations.

THE OPEN (OUTBOUND) TRAVEL MARKET (OTM) BOMBAY TOURISM EXPO OPENS FROM 30 JANUARY TO 1ST FEBRUARY 2025 AT JIO WORLD CONVENTION CENTER, BOMBAY
Uganda High Commission, New Delhi in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Tourism Wildlife and Antiquities, Uganda Airlines, Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) and Uganda Wildlife Authority(UWA) is set to participate in the prestigious Outbound Travel Market (OTM), the leading Travel, Trade Show in India scheduled to take place from 30th January to 1st February 2025 at JIO World Convention Center, Bombay.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Friday 17th January, 2025 met a delegation from the White House at State Lodge, Nakasero.
The delegation, accompanied by the Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon. Anita Among, comprised Dr. Rollan Roberts, the former US Presidential Candidate, Mr. David Woodruff, representing the Senate of West Virginia, and Mr. Siljander Mark Deli, the former Congressman and Ambassador.
The Government of the Republic of Uganda and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, through their respective Ministries of Foreign Affairs, successfully held the inaugural session of Political Consultations in Kampala on Friday, 17th January 2025.
