    At the invitation of His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, His Excellency Felix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) paid a working visit to the Republic of Uganda on 30th October, 2024. His Excellency Tshisekedi was received at State House, Entebbe, by his host, President Museveni.
    The President of DRC was accompanied by his ministers and other senior government officials.

    PRESIDENT MUSEVENI WELCOMES FRENCH INVESTMENT FOCUSED ON SUSTAINABILITY AND PARTNERSHIP

    President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today met and held discussions with a delegation of 17 French investors at State House Entebbe. The delegation, under MEDEF International and led by Ms. Celine Gouveia, president of the France-East Africa Business Council, represents the largest foreign investor group in Uganda, with French companies contributing an impressive 53% of the country’s foreign investment as of 2023.
